As the economy re-opens, all of have to change what we do. We need to be safe not just at school, not just at work, but when we’re out and about in the world. It's a lot like defensive driving--"driving to save lives, time, and money, in spite of the conditions around you and the actions of others." Social distancing is much the same thing, "acting to save lives, time, and money, in spite of the conditions around you and the actions of others." Safety in the "new normal" requires a 24 x 7 mindfulness of the need to avoid contagion.
